Start:
Kukutalri - "Greetings, stranger. Have you encountered Sakanvos? The one they call the Mad Ranger? Heh heh. Quite a cheery place, is our Glimmermoor, is it not?
Tell me. Do you know what drove the ranger mad? No, you don't. But I do. How I wish I didn't know... but I saw the thing myself. I saw the thing that drove him mad.
It's not a dragon... not exactly. It's snake-like, or worm-like. Huge. It stinks of mud and rotting lfesh. It's a creature from a nightmare!
Of course no one believes me. Don't even bother with that impossibly pretentious ass Umano. His fat head's suffed so far up his dreams of empire that he can't smell the stench of death that lingers around this place... He'll learn. You live long enough in this marsh, you learn. The marsh is a teacher. Her lessons are hard and cruel - but impossible to ignore. Would you like to know what I saw?
I was gathering mushrooms in the swamp last week. That's how a lot of us make our living day to day, and I'm no exception.
You don't know the swamp's way; it may seem quiet and sinister to you all the time. But for those who live here, we grow sensitive to its many sounds and little movements. The chatter of birds and rustlin go of bats, the teeming fish, slithering snakes and owrms. But as I was picking a nice batch of blackroot, all of that stopped, as if giant hands had covered my ears. And then the light dimmed - almost as if I were deep underwater. I had the sensation that I was going to drown.
And then I saw it... like a massive worm. It writhed and undulated, glistening and pale white, its rubbery segments sucking at the muck of the swamp, oozing a sticky fluid. As I stared at it, I felt my mind... disintegrating, like curdeled milk in the mouth, coming apart into clumps, losing all sense. I was nauseated. It was only through a tremendous act of will that I managed to shut my eyes - as if they were stuck open - andthe feeling gradually subsided. When I opened my eyes again, the damned thing was gone...
That's all I know. Look for yourslef. Search the swamp for proof. I'm sure you find it... if you don't lose your mind first."

Go east of the village into the swamp into the Fealu Plains. Follow the quest arrow to the Swamp Creeper, level 24. Kill, loot body, and return to Glimmermoore and speak with Umano, Chieftan of Glimmermoore.
